Full Job Description

As Financial Controller you will manage the on-property accounting function with support and back up from the central accounting team. You will take responsibility for all hotel accounting and financial controls ensuring efficient and effective daily control systems are implemented and followed.,

  • Oversee the finance function, processes and controls ensuring a strong operational control environment with efficient and effective daily control systems is in place.

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records and financial system.

  • Produce the monthly management accounts and finance reporting pack. Including:

  • + Posting revenue
    + Bank posting and reconciliation of cash controls and bank statements.
    + Payroll posting
    + Accruals and prepayments
    + Stock reconciliations
    + Hotel ledger reconciliation
  • Coordinate the weekly forecasting and annual budget processes.

  • Assist with driving operational performance through efficiencies and cost control.

    The ideal person will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar position and will have the ability to deliver efficiency and meet targets set out by the General Managers and Group Finance.
