Full Job Description

Focus of the role is to oversee the actual wedding day with high focus on the wedding couple and their immediate family & guests, ensuring that all details requested are executed against their wishes, time frames are adhered to and people are ushered correctly in and around the wedding venue. The operational wedding coordinator personally takes responsibility to ensure the wedding is successfully run with the help of the team.

In addition, the operational wedding coordinator must provide services to all guests with a warm and positive hospitality manner by being fully knowledgeable about user records of food and beverage products, especially around allergies, fully understanding the products and impact of ingredients. Also ensuring that all food and beverages services that are provided are in line with Health and Safety guidelines and maintains a good hygiene practice described by the company. An operational wedding coordinator will be required to fully understand the Art of Hosting principle and conduct this on a daily basis. A fully flexible approach on job duties is required and high standard on cleanliness is basic requirement.

When this role is not required as there are not enough weddings to support contracted hours per week, this role will also be assigned as F&B Associate shifts.

  • Previous experience working within a similar environment preferred but not essential as full training will be provided

  • Previous experience within an event department, wedding related preferred
