Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Charge Officer to join the Rent and Service Charge team on a fixed term basis to cover Maternity Leave.

As a Charge Officer you will be part of a team responsible for the setting of rents and service charges ensuring they are accurate and correct along with maximising income for Your Housing Group.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a varied role within a fast paced environment and has good attention to detail and communication skills.

What will my working week look like?

You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately 2 times a month and more frequently during peak times that affect rent and service charges.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will be part of a team that is responsible for analysing financial data to calculate accurate service charges for customers of all tenure types.

You will also provide relet rents were requested ensuring they comply with the Government Rent standard and Rent Setting Policy along with requesting new rents for secure tenancies.

One of the great things about this role is that it is varied, and no two days will be the same. You will be supporting the business ensuring that rents are correct and that service charges for customers are accurate.
