Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Trainer to join our busy team and assist with onsite and in service training. Reporting to our Hotel Manager and working with our F&B Management Team you will identify the training needs of their team members and implement a training plan that combines classroom style sessions and in-service shadowing. You will prepare a six-monthly plan to incorporate your in-house training alongside supplier and product training.

Key Tasks

  • Inspire and motivate a young and eager team.

  • Support and guide the team to provide exceptional service on every service.

  • Providing shadowing to less experienced team members and guide them in all aspects of service.

  • Arranging Training Sessions for individuals and groups of staff to ensure standards and procedures are understood and followed.

  • Ensuring daily checklists are completed and adhered to.

  • Refining engagement with the guest.

  • Ensure best practice to deal with customer complaints when they arise.

  • Encourage and teach upselling skills.

  • Show how to be generous towards our guests.


  • You will be a key member of the team, providing guests with a distinctive, warm, professional and intuitive service whilst setting the standard for our young team.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory guest facing role within a hotel;

  • Impeccable attention to detail;

  • Guest focused with a genuine passion for delivering sensational service

  • Excellent spoken English and have immaculate presentation skills

    A bonus of £250 will be paid after 3 months service and six months service for this role., This role will involve working a range of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner shifts.
