Head Chef

We are a Smokehouse with a growing reputation, our smoke food restaurant is looking for a enthusiastic, creative and dedicated chef to continue and improve our already great reputation! We are a 54 seated restaurant with additional outside seating in which we offer food from 12pm everyday.

The role itself includes job duties such as the following:

• Responsible for running the Kitchen on a daily basis and overseeing a small team of chefs.


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and to work in a faced paced environment


• Managing the kitchen staff rota


• Be Passionate about maintaining the highest standard of food and service


• Supervising all Kitchen Stations


• Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes


• Supervising, motivating, training and working with other Chefs of all levels


• Understanding and maintaining cost control and ordering


• Must have a good knowledge of Hygiene procedures


• Ordering and stock control


• To attend department meetings and training as required

An exciting opportunity for a Head Chef to join our current Kitchen Team. You must be passionate about food and have previous experience of working within a high quality environment. This role provides a great chance for career development in a committed and expanding company.

The position is available at full time hours, over 5 days. Shift patterns do vary and include weekends. Overtime is recorded and given back in lieu or pay when agreed. Weekly paid salary can be discussed upon interview and is DOE. Tips are equally split between all staff members and staff discount is available for yourself and family at any time. The position is available immediately however we are happy to wait for the right person!
