Full Job Description

The right candidate will lead the development and implementation of our new commissioning approach for adults in and across the Council and the NHS, which enables strong partnerships and high-quality services that support Greenwich residents to lead healthy, fulfilling, and independent lives.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to lead strategically with direct responsibility for the management of commissioning in the areas of Market shaping and sustainability, Joint Funding responsibilities and market quality. Also within this role is the responsibility for staff who undertake co production and inclusion work alongside residents and partners. Key to this role will be working across portfolios in the wider team to support strategic and enabling functions which support all teams to do their best work.
Among other duties, the person will work closely with senior leaders, staff and providers through partnership and co-production, continued design, and implementation of our integrated commissioning framework for adult services that incorporates appropriate governance structures, and which supports an integrated, outcome focused approach to health and care.

Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning are looking for a skilled and experienced leader to fulfil the role of Head of Market Quality & Sustainability.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich Council and the South East London Integrated Care Board have come together to create an integrated approach to commissioning services within Greenwich Place, this postholder has a key role in implementing this new approach.
