Full Job Description

As a trading fund and executive agency of the Cabinet Office, we implement procurement policy on behalf of the government.
We use the collective buying power of our customers and our commercial expertise to help public sector organisations achieve value for money and provide great outcomes for taxpayers.
As a Payroll and HR Assistant your main responsibilities will be:
+ Handling transactional queries including inbox maintenance
+ Maintain payroll administration duties in line with policies and procedures
+ Maintain and update the HR database as required
+ Provide accurate and timely monthly payroll information to the payroll provider
+ Provide change requests to the payroll provider and escalate as appropriate
+ Protecting personal data - ensuring GDPR compliance in documents
+ Produce payroll related correspondence for employees
+ Process BACS recalls and advances as required
+ Provide routine and ad hoc data and information to the pension provider
+ Support and contribute to internal and external audit activities

You'll have relevant experience in:
+ HR and administrative experience
+ Awareness of the wider HR Function - roles, policies and processes
+ Attention to detail - ensure accuracy in protecting personal data
+ Good communication skills - listen actively, have effective written and verbal communication skills
+ Good customer service skills
