Full Job Description

As an EUDC Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our European Digital logistics operation during your assigned shift. You will manage a team of employees, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company policies and procedures. Your role will be vital in maintaining a smooth and productive workflow, meeting customer demands, and optimising the overall efficiency of Mulberry's logistics operation.,

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily activities of the EUDC logistics department in the MEDC during your assigned shift.

  • Control and monitor internal and UPS systems to ensure that all EUDC orders are completed and shipped.

  • Manage and supervise a small team of warehouse staff, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing clear instructions and guidance.

  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability for timely order fulfilment.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and communication e.g. check forecasts with the Digital Team.

  • Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimise operational costs.

  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

  • Resolve any operational issues or conflicts that arise during your shift, escalating to upper management when necessary.

  • Train and mentor team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.

  • Team:

  • Hold daily meetings to update the team.
  • Provide support to Warehouse Operatives within the area, covering training/ mentoring and providing assistance.

  • Holding regular 1-2-1 meetings with the team to provide succession planning.

    Understanding of logistics management or a related field.

  • Knowledge of logistics operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation.

  • Displays leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.

  • Proven ability to problem-solve and make decisions, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools, such as inventory management and systems software (Manhattan preferably.)

  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
