LABOURER / MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

Exciting opportunity to work within a highly successful family-owned business based in Shardlow, on the Derbyshire-Leicestershire border. This multi-site operation comprises a 300-berth marina in addition to three holiday caravan parks.

Due to continuing expansion, we are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic individual to join our small maintenance team. The team are responsible for the maintenance & general upkeep of all sites in addition to site development at one of our caravan parks.

The main focus of the role will be developing new plots at our holiday caravan parks to include all aspects of groundworks so a good level of fitness is essential. Siting & de-siting static caravans is another large part of the job so a basic knowledge of plumbing and electrics would be advantageous. Duties around the marina include moving boats, repairing pontoons general maintenance of the facilities. Other duties include tree cutting, hedge trimming, grass cutting & strimming. No two days are ever the same in this fast-paced, varied role.

All of our sites are busy, customer facing environments so a professional attitude is a must. Must be punctual, reliable and have a positive attitude.
