Full Job Description

You will become part of a highly skilled staff network, who are passionate about raising and supporting aspirations, providing social mobility and an essential talent pool for the local, regional and national economy. The successful candidate will be required to travel across sites.

The start date for this role will be 19 August 2024.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Teaching within the Hairdressing Team, delivering; hairdressing and barbering at different levels.

  • Develop and share resources for the course/subject.

  • Deliver enrichment and enhancement activities.

  • Complete required assessment duties in relation to student assignments.


  • What We Are Looking For:
  • A level 3 qualification in relevant subject area and appropriate professional experience.

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated lecturer, with a Hairdressing background to join our close-knit team on a full-time, permanent basis., A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment.

  • An assessor's award (or equivalent) qualification.

  • A strong experience within the hairdressing sector.

  • Successful teaching experience within the hairdressing curriculum., Disability Confident
