Full Job Description

This role is based in East Leake, South Nottinghamshire, but with a requirement to travel as required (expenses paid). We are currently in the office two days a week, and working from home the rest of the time (we'll provide a laptop).

Core duties

  • Run social media, creating and publishing posts through automated platforms - including managing Arch's social content

  • Make films - primarily for social media use

  • Write content for a wide range of situations

  • Publish content on websites (including Arch's)

  • Come up with and deliver ideas to meet clients' needs

  • Support positive relationships with clients through performance reports etc

  • Undertake research and other tasks as requested

  • Represent Arch at business events

  • Previous paid employment in UK-based PR or journalism.

  • Knowledge and experience of social media management and good practice.

  • Knowledge and experience of film-making (planning, shooting, editing).


  • Skills
  • Top-notch writing skills, with excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling.

  • You must be a great communicator, with highly effective interpersonal skills.

  • Adept in office-based IT software: good keyboard and desktop publishing skills.

  • You must also have a full driving licence and car, fully insured for business use.

    Desirable
  • Relevant degree qualification (eg journalism or m, PR or marketing).

  • Hands-on experience of web production.

  • Experience of graphic design and associated software, especially Adobe Creative.

  • Direct experience in media relations, including writing news releases and successfully achieving coverage., Relevant examples of your work (published content, social media management, films) - links will do., Public relations: 1 year (required)

  • social media management: 1 year (preferred)

  • film-making: 1 year (preferred)


  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Loughborough, LE12 6PF

    £30,000 + (negotiable, based on experience and ability)

    Full time (37.5 hours a week)
