Process Operator / FLT

Reporting to a Team Leader, you will work as part of an operating team ensuring that operational performance is maintained to an exceptional standard, with housekeeping and quality a key deliverable.

Day to day you will pick and store (raw) material to ensure our production teams always have access to the correct materials to maintain high levels of production.

What You Will Do

• Loading and unloading vehicles with empty pallets, ensuring the safety of all within the unloading areas


• Placing adhesive labels on pallets of finished goods, scanning labels with a barcode gun and manually inputting information onto the onboard warehouse management control panel


• Scanning barcodes on vehicles and then loading correct products onto that vehicle


• Receipt and quality check of incoming goods from external and internal suppliers


• Ensuring all housekeeping is completed to a satisfactory standard at all times


• Case picking and assembling of orders through the RF


• Reworking of product on to different pallet types or configuration's, assisting with customer returns and re-working as necessary


• Picking and preparation of delivery orders.


• Issuing raw materials to production areas in a safe, accurate and timely manner


• Removing raw materials from production areas


• Managing stock input and movements on computer systems as required


• Adhere to all Company health and safety regulations, operating procedures, and systems.


• Ensure daily check lists / safety checks are completed on all Fork-Lift Truck (FLT) and Baler equipment before the start of each shift, reporting any faults observed.


• Delivery of raw materials and mother reels into production areas safely and damage free using correct SOP's whilst adhering to current SLA agreements


• Loading of empty shell / cores onto trailers for Mill returns


• Ensure correct and timely completion and delivery of all relevant documentation


• Booking all deliveries and stock movements (real time) on the computer system as required


• Provide assistance to other colleagues to ensure that housekeeping is of the highest standard within the site operation.


• Assist colleagues, where required, to support completion of daily tasks


• Generate return documentation and load all returns


• Re-load all biproducts / reject material leaving site


• Operating and maintaining balers on site using correct SOPs.


• Removal of bales from conveyors and reloading onto stand trailers ensuring they are safe during transit


• Emptying of bins from the factory into the baler area.
  
  You will be an experienced forklift truck driver with a current counterbalance licence and able to demonstrate the following competencies;
