Sign Maker

We are currently seeking a skilled Sign Maker to join our team. As a Sign Maker, you will be responsible for creating and assembling various types of signs using mechanical and hand tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the production of high-quality signage.

Duties:

- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble signs according to specifications

- Operate machinery such as routers, saws, and plotters, laminators to produce sign components

- Wiring of LED components and neon signs (preffered but not essential)

- Apply vinyl graphics and lettering to signs

- Ensure accurate colour matching and quality control of finished signs

- Collaborate with the design team to interpret and implement sign layouts

- Maintain inventory of sign materials and supplies

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working in the workshop

- Installation of vehicle graphics and assist with signage installations if ever required (infrequent)

Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and machinery

- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

- Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, routers, and drills

- Ability to assemble sign components accurately and efficiently

- Familiarity with hand tools for precise cutting, measuring, and shaping

- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
