AUB Innovation Studio Outreach Senior Officer

Centre for Creative Learning

Full-time, Fixed Term for 3 years

Salary: £29,301 Grade IV

Arts University Bournemouth is the leading professional arts university dedicated to turning creativity into careers. Offering courses in art, design, media and performance, we are passionate about our specialist subjects and dedicated both to education and the creative industries which we serve. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with AUB developing and promoting their new Innovation Studio.

The AUB Innovation Studio is a new initiative working with Small Medium Enterprises, Graduate Start-Ups and Social Enterprises across Dorset supporting them in Research and Innovation projects to generate new products and services.

The post holder will support the Knowledge Exchange Manager in establishing the Studio. They will be responsible for promoting the services of the Studio to local organisations and assist with creating individual project proposals.

The post holder will also assist in the creation and running of events and workshop sessions designed to appeal to the local business community.

The post holder will need to help implement systems and maintain accurate records of financial and project related data.

The Innovation Studio will focus on organisations in the Creative and Digital Industries and the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering sectors, experience of working in one of these sectors is required. Experience of working on Research and Innovation projects and an interest in either equal opportunities or sustainable development would be advantageous.

This role will require some travel and occasional evening and weekend working.

This project is part-funded by the European Structural Investment Fund.
