Full Job Description

To manage, provide professional leadership and act as the lead Pharmacist for Haematology and Oncology clinical services at BHNFT, ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines relevant to the area.

To clinically verify chemotherapy prescriptions and where necessary advising and liaising with oncologists and haematologists regarding dose alterations and optimisation.

To be an active member of the Haematology ward round and various MDT discussions

To work closely with the Aseptic Services Department to ensure treatment is Manufactured and released in a timely manner.

We provide a range of high-quality acute hospital across 400 bed for services including emergency department services, outpatient clinics, inpatient services, and maternity and children's services.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to lead our Haematology and Oncology clinical Service. As well as being able to demonstrate strong leadership and service development skills, you will be able to exercise advanced clinical skills by participating in ward rounds and within MDT discussions. You will be working in close collaboration with the Aseptics Services Department, Haematology Ward, Chemotherapy Unit and Western Park Outreach Clinics.
