As a Manufacturing Key Operative - Picker you'll work within the warehouse team to deliver the goods in / goods out processes for the site, working in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment to deliver the best products for our customers.

You'll be the kind of person who:

• Can differentiate between good and poor quality products and take corrective action required


• Is able to comply with site and business policies such as health and safety and food safety


• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness


• Has effective time management, communication and problem solving skills


• Loves working as part of a team and is comfortable in a fast paced warehouse environment with varied temperatures

Here at our 190,000 square foot building, our team of 700 colleagues produces ready to eat chicken, sliced meat and joints for our deli counter and retail shelves. Operating 24/7, our 17 high-speed lines produce 320 tonnes of product a week! Every day, nine vehicles set off to our stores and distribution centres full of 35,000 cases., We're Foodmakers and Shopkeepers and together, we make Morrisons. We're the only UK retailer with our own manufacturing business spread across 18 sites, not to mention nearly 500 stores. Our warehouse, transport, engineering and logistics teams make storing, picking and delivering thousands of products every day a logistical dream.

Supported by the management team, you'll ensure that orders are picked accurately and efficiently, making sure that downtime is minimised so that great quality products can be distributed. You'll pick stock and load onto pallets or cages, stacking securely and carefully.
