Full Job Description
We are seeking a part time accountant to join our Finance team working from our Cramlington office. Hours are flexible to suit and you will be responsible for providing a high-quality financial service to the various departments within Osborne Engineering. To input data and manipulate data within the computerised systems, ensuring all finance reports are met and deadlines adhered to.,
- Providing financial support to the 3 OEL Group businesses (OEL, OTS & TPS).
- Providing financial support, investigating and advising on highly complex and sensitive financial issues.
- To manage the relationships with external service providers e.g. bank, auditors, finance company.
- To prepare financial reports for Management/Board, including Profit & Loss
- Ensures statutory accounts and returns are accurate and meet agreed timescales and legal requirements, interpreting these where necessary.
- VAT Return
- Year End File
Qualified or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA. - A minimum of 18 months experience working in a finance background is essential.
- A minimum of 18 months experience working in a manufacturing company is essential.
- Desirable to have experience of Invoice Finance.
- Skilled in the use of spreadsheets and word processing.
- Planning and organisational of ongoing tasks is required around strict weekly, monthly and annual financial deadlines to meet financial reporting requirements.
- Good communication skills are essential., Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
