Full Job Description

My client has gone through a rapid period of growth and is now looking for an accounts assistant to support the Management Accountant. They pride themselves on fostering a supportive work environment where every team member is valued and given opportunities for growth and development.

The ideal candidate will assist in managing the company's financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, and daily financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile invoices and statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures.

  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
