Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Manager in their day to day role. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and wants to contribute to the success of our organization.

Duties:

- Purchase and Sales Ledger Data Entry

- Obtaining and inputting Commission Statements

- Bank Reconciliations

- Utilising accounting software such as Sage and Netsuite

- Support with month end and year end closing processes

- Assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed

- Assisting with any other adhoc accounts duties

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in our Cheltenham office., Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with financial services industry is a plus

Ideal, but not mandatory requirements:

- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage or Netsuite
