Full Job Description

The Clarke Energy Finance team deliver financial support to each territory across the Clarke Energy group, ensuring processes and controls are robust and regulations are followed with a strong emphasis on ensuring we meet our compliance criteria. Our Finance teams provide independent support to enable decision making and drive operational efficiencies. Covering everything from Transactional processing, Management and Financial Accounting, Treasury management, Internal audit, Acquisitions and Tax, this gives people looking for a career in Finance the opportunity to develop strong all-round skills and experience., The main focus of this role is to provide general support to the Account department. The main focus of this role will be to process purchase ledger invoices for and maintaining account control of our main supplier. Some of the key responsibilities are listed below:

Purchase ledger:

o processing high volume of purchase ledger invoices (mainly Innio and Waukesha invoices)

o reconciling purchase ledger balances with supplier statements

o dealing with queries on a daily basis, liaising with internal and external contacts to resolve invoice queries in a timely manner

o housekeeping of supplier ledgers - ensuring payment allocations are complete, contacting suppliers for missing invoices, and filing of invoices

o monthly Innio MSA cleardown and reconciliation

o accurate and timely processing of weekly payment runs of multi currencies

Expenses:

o collating, checking and processing of employee expenses; ensuring transactions claimed are in accordance with the company's expenses policy

o reconciliation of employee expenses to company credit card statements

Other adhoc duties to assist the Accounts department

For this role, we are looking for someone who has previous experience of working in a similar role in a busy Finance function. Excel skills are also an important skill for this role, to be able to use a range of formulas and to be confident applying VLOOKUP's. It would be an advantage if you have previous exposure to accounting packages, in particular, Microsoft Navision.
