Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our small finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and supporting the smooth operation of our financial processes., · Post invoices and credit notes accurately and ensure they are correctly coded onto the system.

· Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain accurate records of company transactions.

· Conduct supplier statement reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies.

· Assist with credit control duties as required, ensuring timely collection of payments.

· Serve as the first point of contact for telephone queries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.

· Previous experience working in accounts payable, or purchase ledger is essential.

· Proficient in using Sage accounting software.

· Strong skills in Excel and confident in managing data.
