Accounts Payable Assistant

The Accounts Payable Assistant role is meant to carry out detailed tasks within the AirTanker Finance Department, all of which are related to the purchase ledger, banking and stock management System. It further exists to ensure all appropriate finance policies and procedures are adhered to.,

• 
  Ensures the efficient preparation of payment runs
  
• Efficiently processes company expenses and manages all company credit card reconciliation and spending reviews


• Manages purchase ledger processing and all correspondence


• Manages inventory/ stock related purchase ledger processing and all correspondence


• Supports procurement supplier approvals


• Supports the completion of monthly supplier reconciliations


• Carries out administrative duties, including filing and archiving and ensures all documentation is up-to-date


• Offers general finance support as required
  
  Significant experience in administration/ organisation in medium-sized to large business


• Highly agile, with excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple diaries and multitask


• Cordial, with professional manner and approach to work


• Articulate and excellent communicator, both internally and externally in-person and over the phone


• Highly proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet


• Cooperative and team-minded


• Calm under pressure


• Some experience of working in a finance department


• Some knowledge and/or experience of Access Dimensions, FocalPoint and Rusada Envision
