NSX are looking to recruit energetic, enthusiastic seasonal staff to join our existing team and create memories that will last a lifetime for children from all over the world!

Experience is not essential, with all necessary training provided and opportunities to work on a residential basis with all meals provided at various locations across the UK.

This role is perfect for you if you have an interest in working in childcare, teaching, sport or outdoor activities!

About NSX

We offer everything from English Language and Adventure residential courses for children from around the globe, to hosting international sports tournaments and delivering adventure day camps. In 2023 alone, we welcomed international children from China, Japan, France, Spain, Italy, Egypt, Thailand, Germany and Nigeria, alongside delivering several domestic programmes.

We pride ourselves on a team-centred culture, where the primary objective is to deliver a memorable experience for children with exceptional customer service.

The role - Activity Instructor

Generally working with international groups visiting the UK for English Language and Adventure, you will be based at an independent school in a small team of Instructors, TEFL Teachers and a Centre Manager. As a team, you will be responsible for the care of the visiting children by supporting them with living away from their family, delivering a range of activities in which you will receive full training and leading excursions twice a week. In an environment where you'll regularly take responsibility with a can-do attitude, you will be supported by a Centre Manager and a dedicated senior management team.

You can expect:

To have three meals a day and a room on-site

An enthusiastic, self-motivated approach to delivering a great experience for children

A willingness and ability to support children in non-activity time with their needs (meals etc)

A friendly and approachable attitude to working with visiting group leaders

A desire to work effectively as part of a team, taking responsibility where necessary

To attend a company training week

To deliver adventure activities in accordance with the training you have received

To effectively manage the safety and well-being of children under your supervision

To ensure children are settled and happy at the end of each day

To be willing to respond to an on-site emergency 24/7

To become familiar with our Safeguarding Policy and report any concerns appropriately,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

    To generally work in 2-week blocks with up to 8 consecutive weeks of summer work available

    To be considered for additional work around the year

    To get paid for 48hrs per week with any additional hours returned in time off
