Full Job Description

Working alongside our Despatch Manager, you will ensure all jobs are delivered to the end client on time, within budget and managed in an efficient manner. You will have excellent administrative skills which allows you to effectively organise all jobs and despatches that need to be delivered to our clients. With your great decision making skills, you will liaise with our couriers to ensure that despatches will arrive on time and within budget.

Other day to day duties of the role are as follows:

  • Co-ordination of information regarding despatch requirements of finished goods

  • Liaison with internal departments and external warehouses

  • Organisation of appropriate couriers using multiple web-based and internal systems

  • Pre-despatch documentation

  • Post-despatch follow up and reporting

  • Use our internal Management Information System to run reports

    Excellent attention to detail

  • Good written and verbal skills

  • Team player

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Great organisational skills

  • Experience of working within Warehouse/Transport/Logistics would be desirable

  • This position is a permanent, full time position working Monday - Friday starting either at 8.30am/9am - 4.30pm/5pm.

    This role would be suitable for someone with an administrative, logistics or transport background.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
