Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit admin support (band 2) to work with the community nurse Team who is committed to delivering a high quality of administrative support, to work within the Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The role is for a fixed term contract of 9 months.

This administrative role will support the community nursing team. Helping with the daily admin duties. You will often be the first port of call for the patients so need to ensure that you deal with the calls professionally but also with care and understanding.

Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential as is the ability to work proactively. We are seeking a team player and an individual who possesses excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be able to work autonomously and/or as part of a team. You must be proficient with Microsoft applications.

The working hours will be Thursday & Friday 09:15am - 5pm, with some flexibility., The role will be to support the community nursing team answering calls to both patients and other services both inside and outside of the Trust

There will be times when additional duties maybe needed such as ordering stock items (dressings), make sure that the care plans are made up and correct with all the updated paperwork.

To ensure that all information taken is accurate due to the importance with the service that is being provided.
