Full Job Description
The role will offer experience, training and coaching within our lean manufacturing operation including:
- Safety awareness
- Stock process and management
- Assembly Techniques
- Machine operation
- Soldering
- Hand assembly
- Using build sheets and work instructions
- Working in a Clean Room environment
- Test & Inspection
- Use of automated test equipment
- Inspection and quality control
- Taking and recording accurate measurements using various technical equipment
- Mentoring and support by one of our most experienced 5 Star team members to ensure learning & career progression.
- Getting involved with our Continuous Improvement program to identify, develop and implement ideas and investments.

The aim is to provide the relevant experiential learning opportunities in a world class manufacturing facility in addition to funding the college technical learning to develop the individual to pass their qualification and progress into a full-time position within our business.
Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship standard Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested., Attention to detail, Communication skills, Logical, Presentation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Time-Management, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade Grade 4/C or above) Desired
