Full Job Description

  • Must have waterproofing & gas membrane experience

  • Open to builders merchant or building products manufacturer field sales backgrounds

  • May consider a graduate engineer with a small amount of field sales experience

  • Autonomous and comfortable with construction site work / site visits

  • Preferably on the up in career, looking for progression

  • Ability to work under own initiative, highly motivated, conscientious, pro-active and organised approach

  • All technical and structural building product backgrounds will be considered

    • Area to be covered: South (Birmingham South, ideally on the Eastern side)

    Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + £12,000 bonus

    Benefits: Fully expensed company car or car allowance & full flexible benefits

    The role of the Area Sales Manager - Waterproofing & Gas Membranes will involve:
  • Field sales position, selling our clients range of waterproofing & gas membrane systems

  • All of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, framework contractors, civil engineers, structural engineers, design and build contractors, private developer house builders, groundworkers, civil engineering contractors and infrastructure contractors

  • Such as: Willmott Dixon & Skanska

  • Turnover target circa £3m

  • Order values ranging from £20k-£150k

  • Circa 80 on-going projects to inherit

  • Typical projects within the commercial, housing (private developments), civil engineering, transportation and Infrastructure
