Full Job Description

Team Educate is proud to represent a Special School in the Solihull area who are seeking the services of an Art Therapist one day per week to work with the pupils who attend their school. You will be responsible for planning engaging activities with therapeutic benefit for individuals in need of holistic intervention. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on their lives., Conduct assessments and develop individualised care plans for pupils
- Provide counselling and therapy sessions to address pupils' emotional, mental, and behavioural issues
- Utilise various therapeutic techniques and interventions to support pupils' well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of therapy
- Plan engaging and interactive age-appropriate activities to facilitate social and emotional development

Proven experience as an Art Therapist or in a similar role, as well as a recognised Post-Graduate qualifcation in Art Therapy
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions
- HCPC registration preferred
- Ability to develop effective care plans based on individual pupil needs, or according to group need.
