Full Job Description

  • You're an analytical thinker and problem solver. You can collect and analyse complex data from appropriate sources to extract insights and develop informed recommendations that shape or support project objectives.

  • You're a strong presenter with excellent report writing skills. You can deliver effective presentations and reports to convey clear messaging and insights to clients and stakeholders.

  • You're a natural at building relationships. You build productive relationships and uses an appropriate communication style to positively influence clients, colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial acumen and market awareness. You are interested and aware of trends in the market that impact our clients.


  • Key required experience:
  • Professional qualification in Real Estate (e.g., Surveyor) or Consulting experience in a large professional services firm or equivalent corporate or public sector role.

  • Knowledge and/or experience of at least two of: Corporate real estate functions, Facilities management operations, Business case development, Estates / real estate transformation programmes , Estates / real estate optimisation programmes, Data analysis using tools in a real estate context.

  • The ability to travel as required.

    We are currently looking for a property professional to join our Occupiers and Capital Projects team. Working at the Assistant Manager level you will advise on a wide range of projects for both our public and private sector clients, who occupy and manage a vast array of real estate. Working here will give you the chance to develop your business consulting skills to build on your existing professional or industry expertise.

    In our Occupiers & Capital Projects advisory team, we work with the world's largest and most influential organisations. Our clients span industries and sectors, but include the world's biggest banks and financial services institutions, multi-national consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and telecoms, and the public sector, including central and local government, agencies and arms-length bodies with the largest and most complex estates

    2. You will work on the most relevant, pressing, and complex challenges

    Our clients' Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Workplace, Facilities Management (FM) or Estates teams in the public and private sectors are evolving their approaches to support their organisations as they embrace the future of work and adapt to post-pandemic ways of working.

    We are supporting our clients, both within the public and private sector, as they navigate these generational challenges.

    Examples of recent work we have done include:
  • Supporting a client to identify a new head office location using data analysis, define the outline requirement and stand up the programme to relocate and deliver this new workplace to its 2000+ staff;

  • Supporting a real estate portfolio cost reduction programme for PE-owned global media company;

  • Defining the CRE and FM strategy for the delivery of a high-profile facilities and workplace services transformation programme for a FTSE 250 company;

  • Designing and establishing a new target operating model for one of the worlds largest organisations with a £2bn+ annual capital plan;

  • Providing real estate expertise as part of a wider cross-Deloitte project to help government consider how to spend investment to reduce carbon emissions; and

  • Preparing robust business cases to seek approval for future changes to our clients real estate for a range of scale from £5m to £1bn+ supported by detailed cost and benefit analysis, including an in-depth analysis of potential service delivery models.
