Full Job Description

Assistant Project Manager - South

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to provide high quality, proactive and efficient Project orientated support works associated with projects/small works within an assigned geographical location. You will own and deliver your own smaller works/projects as well as assisting with the planning and delivery of larger projects.

You will Ensure project status information is available through collaborative coordination with the wider internal account team and external supply chain as well as the preparation and management of documents associated to the projects delivered. You will be expected to liaise with multiple stakeholders including Mitie's internal divisions, contractors, suppliers, our client, and statutory or legal authorities.

In order to be successful within this role, you must hold a relevant project management qualification as well as background within construction or Hard FM . You will have a developed understanding of budgeting and planning with strong analytical skills. You must have a clear understanding of the statutory regulations relating to CDM. And ability to demonstrate to take the lead with excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will hold qualifications in IOSHH - managing safely, CSCS skill cards, SMSTS, and other project management related qualifications. You will have the ability to communicate and interact with different clients, stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers. You will work independently, proactively, with versatility across a cross-functioned and matrixed organisation with the ability to assimilate large volumes of data and a full valid UK driving license.
