Beyond medicines, we support our stakeholder communities to drive initiatives that improve awareness, education, access and ultimately standards of care., As the Associate Director, Medical Affairs Learning you will be responsible for identifying and addressing learning needs for Medical Affairs globally for processes and operating models and collaborating and partnering with MA Functions to lead training initiatives. You will be accountable for contributing to establishing and maintaining a learning culture that promotes excitement for lifelong learning across the Medical Affairs community.

As the Associate Director, you will drive a global training curriculum for Medical Affairs colleagues for their professional growth by prioritizing and managing curriculum design, content development, and execution.,

  • Drive the MA Training Strategy and collaborates with stakeholders and leads MA Training Needs Assessments, Strategy, Design, and Implementation.

  • Ensure that Medical Affairs colleagues globally maintain professional growth by prioritizing and managing curriculum design, content development and execution through alignment and collaboration with MA Senior Leaders, Line Managers and Functional Leaders, to enable successful delivery of MA training programs.

  • Assess and proactively identify training opportunities to enhance current and new training curricula; support new disease state and Digital excellence training initiatives, collaborate with HR and focus on role-based training for MA Colleagues.

  • Lead the effort to assess, recommend and implement new instructional technologies to drive successful training programmes (real time and virtual) globally.

  • Support the Digital Excellence team and collaborates on development of a Training Matrix for MA owned systems.

    Previous experience in leading training initiatives within the health care industry/Pharmaceutical.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to facilitate team discussions and drive optimal team performance.

  • Significant knowledge of understanding and proven utilization of training build (design, development) and delivered utilizing adult learning principles within a LMS environment.

  • Demonstrated high level of competence with MS Office applications and the ability to learn new systems and software rapidly - strong IT skillset.

  • Relevant knowledge of instructional design software such as Articulate and Camtasia.

  • Fluent in written and spoken business English.

  • Bachelor's Degree, either BA or BS or equivalent

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.

  • This position can be based in the United Kingdom or Ireland.

  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per week in our UK, or Ireland office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
