Full Job Description

You will be working with the wider Operations team to support optimum stock levels and reduce Slow-Moving and Obsolete inventory. Ensuring the right product is available at the right time to ensure that the best customer service level is achieved cost-effectively.

Building strong relationships within the business across K&B UK specifically; Internal Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Material Control, Logistics, NPD and Demand Planning. There will also be the need to work more closely with other Kohler associates around the world as required.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create and agree a daily, weekly, monthly production plan and monitor schedule adherence.

  • Timely response to sales teams to action short lead-time requests and sales queries.

  • Reschedule in response to, internal & external shortages, bonding and quality problems.

  • Respond to MRP exception messages real-time to expedite/defer supply/production.

  • Action Engineering Changes accordingly to ensure availability in line with effective dates.

  • Partner with the manufacturing operation to optimize productivity.

  • Prioritize the plan to maximize LOTIF (lines on time in full) performance at the optimum stock levels.

  • Maintain finished goods stock profiles in line with business budgetary parameters.

  • Management of MRP inventory planning parameters including safety stock rules, re-order points, batch size, part status flags, etc.

  • Participate in Product Withdraw Process Meetings.

  • Support in activities regarding New Product launches.

  • Participate in the Opportunities Process.

    Ideally 2 year's previous manufacturing or planning experience.

  • Proficient in SAP and PC skills including effective use of Microsoft office, particularly with Excel and Outlook

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, numeracy skills & organisational skills

  • Needs to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to make a logical judgment

  • A sound working knowledge of MRP systems and experienced in manufacturing planning and control techniques, ideally gained in a busy manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated and proactive

  • Progressive attitude towards change.
