ATR Fleet Specialist

Supported by a CAMO engineer and reporting to the Technical Services Team Leader and in turn the Part CAMO Manager to oversee fleet airworthiness requirements for the ATR and ensuring serviceability, a commitment to flight safety and both Part 145 and Part CAMO responsibilities are fulfilled.

Main responsibilities:

• Main Responsibilities: Key duties are varied and extensive and include;


• Oversight and ownership for the ATR fleet in a technical capacity and supporting the fleet in service to ensure optimised utilisation and availability


• Reviewing, developing and planning aircraft modifications including full AD/SB reviews and implementation.


• Ensure adequate manpower, training, spares, approved data and ground equipment is available for any work undertaken.


• AOG response support and co-ordinating various parties for in the field support, investigating and procuring spare parts and tooling and where applicable, debriefing the crew to assist with troubleshooting and obtaining temporary permits to recover the aircraft.


• Creating and reviewing planned maintenance due lists and AD/SB statements.


• Liaise with the operator to plan their maintenance requirements and define the extent of the workscope with a view to maximise aircraft availability by careful inspection alignment and smart scheduling.


• Audit completed work packs received back from the Engineering Department.


• Maintain all Maintenance Schedules, Service Manuals, Service Letters, Bulletins and Instructions to current revision standards.


• Ensure all work carried out complies with the Regulatory Authority, Type certificate holder approval and company procedures.


• Creation, approval and maintenance of fleet Aircraft Maintenance Programs and Fleet Inspection requirements.


• Analysis and review of dispatch reliability, creation of reliability reports with recommendations.


• On-wing liaison, protecting the operators' assets and interests during base maintenance events in a Technical Representative capacity and monitoring/influencing output date, project cost and quality. Engaging and maintaining a relationship with the type certificate holder and fulfilling reporting requirements.


• Establishing a prosperous, robust link between the TCH and the Operation for continued support.


• Other duties as directed by management team or TORs within CAME.


Key Accountability:

• Bring about efficiency to fleet performance and maximise serviceability. React and take ownership of aircraft AOG events.
  
  Technical understanding of aircraft systems and components, Propeller experience preferred but not essential.


• Background in airline continued airworthiness management or engineering and familiarity with the regulations.


Desirable Qualifications

• UK CAA Maintenance License (B1 or B2) with / without type ratings.


• Aeronautical or engineering related degree.
