Full Job Description

As a Barrack Stores Supplier, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The additional person to the existing team will ensure the team are Able to carry out the role to meet deadlines and supports the existing team to prioritize relevant tasks and deadlines, policy, and procedures.

Day-to-day, you'll carry out physical issue and receipt Barrack stores to or from Service Families (SFA) & Single Living Accommodation (SLA) as well as Perform office moves as required, as well as:

  • Locate and manage all Barrack stock holdings including unserviceable equipment through repair cycle in accordance with Defence and Logistic policies.

  • Assess serviceability of Barrack equipment in conjunction with the Team Leader.

  • Assist with any stock reconciliations by carrying out Stocktaking/Snap Check programmes within Stockholding Groups as required.


  • This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Halton

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain/Logistics in a military or equivalent civilian environment. (Desirable)

  • Familiar with MoD Logistics Procedures and documentation. (Desirable)

  • Computer literate

  • Can work on their own initiative.

  • Able to be flexible to accommodate changes in work practices.

  • Physically fit and able to work outside throughout the year (Essential)


  • Qualifications for the Barrack Stores Supplier:
  • Hold full current driving license. (Essential)


  • Security Clearance
    The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS Clearance.
