Full Job Description

We are excited to announce that we have been invited to bring our expertise and touch of magic to a brand-new setting to provide high quality affordable childcare at MOD Boscombe Down. The nursery is due to open in April and we are looking for Level 3 qualified colleagues to join us on our journey to grow the nursery into a thriving and stimulating environment for our children and employees.

Our new nursery is one of 14 settings in the RAFAKidz family. Initially we will have circa 15 employees and places for 60 children. You will be supported by our wider management team including Nursery Manager, Area Manager, and Operations Director it's a real team effort!

We offer subsidised childcare for colleagues to be able to bring their children with them, high quality up-to-date training including using our software to electronically record your observations and updates. You'll have ample annual leave and time off to relax and recharge over the Christmas period. We will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities and you'll be learning on the job from leading practitioners in the industry!

A typical day in the role will include;

  • Meet and greet families and build great relationships

  • Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities

  • Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements

  • Designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children

  • Work with Senco to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities

  • Role model to other colleagues and supporting them in their learning journeys towards qualifications
