Full Job Description

· Supporting internal clients with organising meetings, travel requirements and
ad hoc requests
· Supporting the Business Support team, nationally, to organise
accommodation, vehicle hire, timesheets/expenses, especially during busy
periods
· Work alongside the Logistics team to support them with ad hoc requests
· Provide support to raise purchase orders and process invoices for internal and
external projects
· Ensure post/couriers are managed in a timely manner
· Assist with the management of centralised systems within the organisation e.g.
processing of data whilst working towards NetZero
· Assist the Business Support Senior Manager with organising and minute
taking at meetings.

We are seeking an experienced, organised Administrator to join the Wessex Archaeology Business Support Team in our Salisbury/Amesbury office, supporting our internal clients, and acting as first point of contact for external stakeholders. The role will involve general administrative duties and customer service support to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. The successful applicant should have an excellent telephone manner, able to organise and prioritise their own workload, with the ability to build relationships to work in a team to deliver on requests received into a central Inbox, but also work independently.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a busy office and looking to further develop their skills and experience. You will be a proactive individual who enjoys a varied workload, has excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. The role will include various administrative support and key tasks outlined below, · Previous experience of working collaboratively in an administrative role.
· Confident in using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and
Teams
· Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent including Maths and English
· Ability to build strong working relationships

Desirable:
· Relevant administrative qualification e.g. secretarial qualification, NVQ
Business Administration qualification,
· Experience of using Microsoft 365 tools e.g. To do and planner. (Training will
be provided if required)
· Previous experience of minute taking
