Catering Manager

We currently have a new opening for Catering Manager to join Holy Cross Catholic Primary School, helping to co-ordinate day-to-day activities within the kitchen and ensuring quality services are provided to students and staff., You'll be responsible in assisting with school menu planning, food preparation and cooking, and working within a wider team to ensure catering services are carried out efficiently on a daily basis, including stock control and ensuring duties are carried out within a set budget.

• Minimum of a Level 2 award in Food Safety


• Previous experience within catering for large numbers in a supervisory role


• Awareness of Health and Safety, COSHH, dietary and allergen requirements


• Commitment to providing a high-quality and consistent catering service with the ability to work within a busy environment

The Governors of this popular, welcoming and successful school are seeking to appoint a Catering Manager to start as soon as possible.

Hours of work: 30 hours per week 7.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 39 weeks of the year (term time plus 5 TD days).

Salary: Scale 22 - £16.26 per hour - £31,364 pa (pro rata)
