We run a fast paced gastro pub in rural hertfordshire , a quintessential English gastro pub with Mediterranean influence, the food is cooked freshly to a high standard. The owners both coming from a Michelin background in fine dining. The right candidate would need to have similar experience of a high pressure , high quality kitchen. Would need to be able to run a section , orders for that section, mise en place and food safety . We are looking for a hard working jovial charactered team player to join our 7 man brigade. It is a hands on position with bonuses related to gp's and food safety applicable. There is a healthy service charge and performance related profits are in place for the kitchen team . Candidates must be local and be able to travel independently. The salary is based on an 8 shift week. The pub is closed for food on Mondays.
