Full Job Description

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives? We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in supporting children to be active participants in their daily lives and to empower them to shape their own futures., It is an exciting opportunity as we launch our New Children's Short Breaks Service in Rotherham. This is a 1 year Fixed Term Annualised contract working 10 hours per week. There is possibility for the term to be extended., As a key member of our small team, your main purpose will be supporting children with complex and challenging support needs. You will be responsible for organising meaningful activities, which are enjoyable and leading some small group sessions to facilitate their understanding of their environments, and assist in skill development, health, personal care, and behavior management. You will assist in the effective operation of our services, maintain accurate records, and participate in ongoing training and development., Planning activities to support well-being
Support individuals / groups within the Centre and Community.
Liaise with external professionals (CAMHS, Social Workers, Educational Psychologists)
Keeping all records of your work up to date and accurate
Provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service
To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.

The service will operate Monday to Friday 3pm to 9pm, Sat-Sun 9am-6pm. (During school holidays 9am-3pm). We are offering £13.25 per hour, 32 days of annual leave including Bank Holidays pro rata
