Cleaner

Our school cleaning team in an integral part of the school community. They ensure the school is clean and safe for our children and staff.

Reporting to

Cleaning Supervisor

Main responsibilities

• Ownership of a section within the school to ensure that it is cleaned to the highest standard


• Wipe down tables and chairs, dust and hoover classes


• Clean toilets


• Hoover/mop corridors and hallways


• Re stock toilet paper, soap, hand sanitiser and towels


• Undertake deep clean in the summer


• Undertake COSHH training

• Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young people within the Trust.


• Uphold public trust and maintain high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside school by:

General responsibilities

· Have a proper and professional regard for the ethos, policies and practice of the Academy and Trust.

· Have an understanding of, and always act within, the relevant professional standards and statutory frameworks. This includes those relating to Health & Safety, security, confidentiality and data protection.

• Monday to Friday
