Full Job Description

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team for 25 hours a week (weekend working) on a permanent basis, working in our Extra Care Scheme in Nant Y Mor, in the North Wales area.

Tuesday 8.00am - 13.00pm or 9.00am - 14.00pm

Wednesday 8.00am - 13.00pm or 9.00am - 14.00pm

Saturday - 8.00am - 13.00pm or 9.00am - 14.00pm

This role provides the opportunity to be part of a team that delivers a high standard of cleaning services that make a difference to our customers. We want to hear from individuals who have a natural flair with people. Communication is key in this role, as you will need to be confident and friendly to all our customers. You will need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service and work in partnership with the housing and care teams to ensure the right service is delivered to people living in the schemes. This role will cover for annual leave and sickness and will involve both weekdays and weekends.

It would be desirable that you have experience of working in a cleaning capacity and an understanding of the health and safety and regulatory requirements. Although not a requirement, evidence of working within an establishment that provides care and support to residents and service users would be advantageous. More importantly we are looking for someone who is flexible, keen to develop their skills and has a genuine desire to make difference.

We are seeking an experienced cleaner, with a demonstratable track record of working within a supporting environment, within a housing or customer focused environment to support our two award-winning companies to make a real difference to people's lives, homes and communities.

  • Able to provide an important part of the cleaning service and support the line manager with tasks assigned. Keeping the scheme in in good, clean condition.

  • Someone that has positive and flexible attitude, with strong values that align well to ours.

  • Efficient with cleaning duties, understanding that the communal areas are and extension of residents homes.


  • Do you have:
  • A strong customer focused and empathetic approach to dealing with customers.

  • The ability to work as part of a small, busy team as well as to work alone and therefore capable of organising your workload and making decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills and the self-awareness to continuously improve yourself

  • Proficient knowledge of cleaning

  • A proven track record of working in a cleaning environment
