Full Job Description

Dorset HealthCare Orthotics Service has a fixed term, 12 month, full-time, 37.50 hours per week, vacancy for a Clinic Support Administrator based at Maple Place in Poole.
Working hours 8:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday at Maple Place, St, Marys Road, Poole, BH15 2LG
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application., The Orthotics Service is a small but busy service, and we are looking for an adaptable and self-motivated individual to join our team. You will have excellent communication skills, advanced typing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and can cope well under pressure in a busy clinic and reception environment.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the day-to-day office-based tasks, such as answering the phone, registering referrals, use of EPR (Electronic Patient Record), booking appointments, dealing with enquiries, and placing orders.
You will have, telephone and face-to-face contact with members of the public, daily communication with clinicians, other Health Care Professionals, and members of the Trust.
We are looking for a motivated individual with an eagerness to assist the team in any way required.
We are currently unable to offer on-site parking; however, there is pay parking nearby. Multi-story car park, easy access on bus routes.
