CNC Router operator

We are currently seeking a machine operative (CNC Router) to join our clients team. As a machine op, you will be responsible for operating various woodworking machinery to shape, cut, and finish wood products. Your attention to detail and precision will be crucial in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final products.

In this role, you will work primarily in a workshop environment, collaborating with our team of craftsmen and designers. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and transforming raw materials into finished wood products.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, such as Homag CNC Routers


• Ensure accuracy and precision in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood pieces


• Use hand tools, such as chisels and hand planes, to refine and finish wood surfaces


• Interpret technical drawings and transform them into physical wood products


• Maintain and clean woodworking machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity


• Collaborate with designers and craftsmen to develop prototypes and custom wood products


• Monitor the quality of the final products and make adjustments as necessary
  
  Some machine operating experience, training can be provided


• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision


• Ability to use hand tools, such as chisels, planes, and hand saws


• Solid understanding of safety protocols and practices in a workshop environment
