CNC Turner

We are currently seeking skilled Days/Nighshift CNC Turners to join our clients team in the Aerospace sector in Verwood. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience setting and operating CNC Lathes , with a good understanding of either Mazatrol or Fanuc programming and a keen eye for detail.,

• Set and operate, program CNC Lathes to produce components to tight tolerances and high quality standards.


• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure components are manufactured to the correct dimensions and specifications.


• Conduct regular quality inspections of components during the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.


• Troubleshoot any issues with the CNC machines and perform basic maintenance and repairs as required.


• Collaborate with production planning and engineering teams to ensure components are produced on time and to the required specifications.


• Assist with the continuous improvement of production processes and suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste.


• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  
  At least 3 years of experience setting and operating and programming CNC lathes with either Mazatrol or Fanuc controls


• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.


• Experience with precision engineering and manufacturing techniques.


• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.


• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• A team player with strong communication skills.


• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
