Full Job Description
Our well established client require a career minded Commercial Finance Partner to join their UK HQ in Birmingham. As Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play an integral role in providing financial guidance and support business wide to all operational teams. Your expertise will be in all areas of commercial acccounting and working closely with a range of stakeholders.
You will establish:
- Financial Analysis.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Deeper clarity of maximising business profitability.
- Production of Financial Models using Advanced Excel skills.
- Improved business performance through utilising stakeholder management skills.
- Ensuring collectively finance and operational teams achieve substantial ROI.
- Demonstrating what the key value add processes are and offering a manner of commercial improvement initiatives.
- Financial problem solving through data analysis and modifications including continuous improvement.
- Experience in the engineering sector, ideally in a multi-national business.
- Financial management: 3 years (preferred)
- Financial planning: 3 years (preferred)
- Financial analysis: 3 years (preferred)

Through supporting operational teams, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning and analysis for assigned departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to finance team members.
Qualified accountant with progressive career experience.
- Proven experience in commercial financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.,
