Full Job Description

Community Home Energy Advisor (Green Doctor), 30 hours per week; 7.5 hours per day over 4 days per week, 9am to 5pm (includes 30 minutes for unpaid lunch break). May include occasional weekend and evening work as required. The Community Home Energy Advisor will offer free, impartial advice and support to help people save energy, reduce bills and live in a warmer, more comfortable home. Advice will be delivered in one to one sessions at home, telephone call or at community events.

The Community Home Energy Advisor will also support in developing wider community links to generate further referrals through visiting community groups and events. We are seeking an individual with fantastic organisational skills as well as someone that is a great communicator. An approachable and compassionate manner will be essential, as will the ability to operate under pressure. The role is part of a small dedicated team working within a larger Charity and thus the ability to work effectively in this environment is needed.

£22,626 pro rata (increasing to £23,973 pro rata on completion of probation and training)
