There is an exciting opportunity to join the UK Compliance Governance & Operations and Training teams as a Compliance Administrator. This team provides Governance support to the UK Compliance department, coordinating department-wide activity and dealing with queries from the UK business, our Regional and Group Compliance colleagues and the FCA. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to varied Compliance and Governance topics and would suit someone looking for a stable career in the second line.

As a Compliance Administrator, you will act as key support for Compliance reporting, governance and control activities. You will get involved in calendar-driven and detailed tasks to support your colleagues within Compliance. You will be an ambassador for the Code of Conduct, championing regulatory discipline and accurate reporting.

What will you be doing?

The Governance & Operations team is critical in supporting Zurich's UK-regulated entities to deliver on their FCA reporting, their board and governance committee reporting and their Regional and Group Compliance reporting commitments. The Training team supports the creation and rollout of mandatory and enhanced Compliance training. The ability to meet deadlines and deliver on time and quality repeatedly is key. Reliability, patience, and attention to detail are required to succeed in this role. The key accountabilities of this Compliance Administrator role are:

Governance Accountabilities of the Role:

  • Support the regulatory contact mailbox and be responsible for high-quality record-keeping of all regulatory communications and interactions.

  • Issue FCA Reg Data reporting reminders to the business.

  • Support the Compliance team in maintaining a clear record of:

  • + UK Compliance's local policies and local standards.
    + Findings & Incidents data quality results.
    + Audit trails of Compliance risk and controls evidence to support RACE attestations.
    + Executive Resource Attestation of quarterly results and action plans.
    + Board and Risk and Controls committee actions and due dates for UK Compliance.
    + Up-to-date and clear internal and business-facing Compliance, Governance and Training SharePoint.
  • Facilitate collation of inputs to the Compliance Forum and Governance Managers Forum.

  • Support the Training coordinator's delivery of mandatory and enhanced Compliance training.

  • Facilitate UK Compliance's Annual Appointed roles review.

  • Carry out clear desk checks for UK Compliance.

    Good Excel skills are essential,

  • Experience working with DocuSign, SharePoint editing, and Shared mailboxes, would be an advantage.

  • Experience maintaining activity trackers and calendars.

  • Experience maintaining document libraries.

  • Good collaboration and communication skills.

  • Good MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint skills are also required.
