Full Job Description

My client, who are a family run business who specialise in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces within the community, have ambitious plans to grow the company further and are looking to add a Contract Manager to the Senior Management Team, to head up the Grounds Division. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will manage the Grounds and Trees teams, liaising with a wide range of clients, including local authorities, private developers and education providers.

    • What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Contract Manager:

  • Handling initial enquiries, arranging and attending Client Site Visits/Surveys

  • Managing the project to ensure that it stays on budget and is completed within the allotted time frame

  • Ensuring the client remains fully updated throughout the project

  • Overseeing the recruitment and development of your team

  • Supporting the directors to grow the department and wider business

    Do you want to work within a friendly, supportive, employee focussed company? Are you ambitious and like to take full ownership of a role? Are you proactive, highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects?, Experience of working on similar projects would be advantageous, but finding the right person is more important

  • First class communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other third party stakeholders/contractors

  • The desire and ability to help grow the division and wider business through proactive business development and networking
