Full Job Description

The Control Room Technician will be required to assist in the preparation of stock and raw materials for pellet manufacture in the automated plant. Oversee and control the load and production flow within the automated plant using the SCADA system; participating in the resolution of any production faults or upset conditions. Provide on the spot technical and maintenance assistance to support the smooth operation of the Plant.,

  • Operate and monitor the SCADA and live video feed

  • Ensure work is performed safely in a timely and cost effective manner to prescribed quality standards

  • Monitor the Building Management System to maintain safe and comfortable environmental conditions for the team

  • Log, investigate and work with Production Engineering to resolve system faults

  • Identify opportunities to improve throughput and reduce costs to improve margins (OEE)

  • Take on projects that align with site and departmental targets

    Either Level 3 Qualification in a STEM subject or Completion of SCADA Training

  • Strong interpersonal skills with leadership capacity

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and organisational skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
