Credit Controller

The credit controller role will report to the Financial Controller and will join the finance team to primarily support customer accounts and obtain payments, whilst dealing with any related queries.

The role will include:

• Chasing non-payment of invoices


• Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices


• Preparing written correspondence as necessary regarding customer accounts, including generating reminder letters and statements


• Preparing application for payments for submission to house builders in order to obtain payment of invoices


• Undertaking credit searches


• Posting payments and reconciling customer's remittance to the sales ledger


• Undertaking reviews of older debts


• General duties, as required, to assist in the general running of the finance department
  
  Have previous experience as a credit controller


• Be a good communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills


• Be able to work proactively both independently and as part of team


• Possess good IT skills and have previous experience using Sage (desirable but not essential)
